7/28/98: A visit to another house church was cancelled due to cyclone alert in the city… I decided not to go to Pune with Pastor A… Did go out to nearby restaurant for food, the cows are unfazed by the weather warning… Different weather and traffic patterns in South Asia than the US… We mostly stayed in our hotel room for the day to do some reading and reflecting…
NOTE: Cows are sacred animals by Hindus in India. They are allowed to roam freely throughout the towns and cities, with car and pedestrian traffic simply flowing around them. The photos in this post show just a few of the cows that we encountered throughout our stay in Mumbai.
