8/27/98: Ruth gave a lecture to the nursing staff today… When we started planning our trip, she was doubtful she would have much to do or to contribute, but this is the third mission hospital we have visited on the trip so far, and we’ll be stopping at two more soon… Her expertise in clinical epidemiology in a hospital setting has turned out to be of great interest and use to doctors and nurses alike…
