8/30/98: We were unable to find a church to attend for worship services… Wound our way through two walking tours of the city at a leisurely pace… Purchased a leather belt with brightly colored thread embroidery embedded… The shop keeper promised me that it was made with “genuine Tibetan kangaroo hide…” Lesson learned: Don’t believe everything you hear, but do buy a good leather belt when you can find one…
