1/17/99: I slept way in, but woke to find that Ruth had gotten little sleep at all. She was up most of the night with bad stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. Haven’t figured out why though. Needless, to say, she stayed in bed all day… Kathy served up homemade waffles for breakfast, and then I watched the Broncos vs. the Jets with Todd… A lazy, relaxing day… As John Cruz sings, we did the day “island style…”
