6/3/23: When I climbed that tree, I was a bit nervous of the height and the flimsy branches I expected to hold my weight. We finally realized that the shot wouldn’t be that great, so we scouted a different spot closer to the ground. So much for my brief career as an aerial photographer! It turned out that there was no manageable high point from which to capture an overview photo of the Karanda Mission Hospital compound. These days it would be pretty easy to purchase a cheap drone with a camera and get just about any aerial view you want.
